GGA Concentrate Snips™ Product Demonstration

In this video, I'll demonstrate how easy it is to use our traceable glucose and glutamic acid snip product to create your GGA check standard for biochemical oxygen demand.

Product QCI-081 SNIP is an ISO 17034-certified GGA concentrate available in packs of 25.

The traceable certificate of analysis is enclosed within the package.

Use one snip tube to create a standard GGA solution to check the accuracy of your BOD results.

Each snip tube delivers exactly 300 milligrams per liter of GGA as required by standard method 5210b.

To use one simply snip open the end of the tube and pour the contents directly into a 300 ML BOD bottle.

There may be some residual liquid product left in the tube so a single rinse using a portion of reagent water is adequate.

Next, bring your BOD bottle to a volume of 300 ML by adding the remaining reagent water.

You will need to add your BOD seed obtained from your vendor of choice which we won't include in today's demonstration.

Insert the BOD bottle stopper and cap to seal it and prevent spillage, and lastly mix the contents of the BOD bottle.

That's it! You're ready to incubate the BOD control sample.
